Of all of the myths and mistruths surrounding the cash gifting market, one of the more recent is that the market has become oversaturated with opportunities. The basic premise of this myth is that there are so many opportunities out there that it's hurting the cash gifting programs because they're having to compete with each other. This is just another myth that's been created and spread by those who still fear that all cash gifting opportunities are scams, or who have been scammed in a pyramid scheme in the past and as a result feel the need to tear down anything which bears a resemblance to that scheme. The fact that the cash gifting market keeps growing argues against the myths that all cash gifting opportunities are scams, however, so new myths must be created to try and keep suspicion and doubt on these opportunities.

In the end, only you can decide whether a cash gifting program is right for you. Don't worry that you won't succeed because there are too many programs out there, though... all that having numerous cash gifting systems available means is that you'll have a number of options to choose from when trying to pick the cash gifting program that's right for you. If the Internet is used as a common platform though, that means that applications would be based on a single platform and there would be a degree of unity. The suggestion of Web 2.0 is that the World Wide Web should become a more effective tool for people to use once Web 2.0 becomes a full-fledged reality. This will happen when interaction is fostered between content and service providers, and the Netizen users, so that they can collaborate on how to make the World Wide Web a better virtual universe for all Netizens to use.

There is a more tangible benefit to Web 2.0 - Netizens such as business owners will create more content that is usable for business purposes and that other Netizens can rely on for their needs and wants. For instance, if a business owner uses a social network site as his personal business site where he can post pictures and ads about his product, then that means the business owner is producing content that other members of the social network can rely on for something they need. The business owner could be a networkmarketer, or even a life insurance agent who would post information as blog content about the policies he is offering and how these may benefit his readers. Other Netizens will then read such blog posts and be able to act on them by visiting the life insurance agent's site and posting a message. Interaction follows and the philosophy of Web 2.0 becomes a reality - people actually will interact using the World Wide Web in a more effective way.

This interaction is not static - rather, each participant in the Web 2.0 philosophy ought to be able to benefit somehow. In our example above, the life insurance agent is one participant who triggers a chain of events that will involve "prospects" or Netizens who might want to buy policies from him. If the prospect becomes a customer because she buys a policy from the life insurance agent, then the agent gets value from use of the WWW and so does the prospect-now-customer. Before we attempt to start anything, we must have a clear and concise goal. We must know without a doubt what it is we want. We all need something to work towards, something that means so much to us that we keep it in the forefront of our thoughts at all times. Without a definite goal, we wander aimlessly around, starting one project after another and never finishing anything. Which brings us to another cause of failure, lack of persistence.

Most of us get started with no problem. We find something we are interested in, get all excited, and know that this is it without a doubt. Then, we hit a bump in the road, things get difficult and we throw up our hands and think, Okay maybe this wasn't right for me after all. Don't be afraid of set backs. With every small failure you are one step closer to success. You become a failure when you give up. DO NOT QUIT! Persistence and failure cannot coexist. Stick with it. You can do it! For 15 years I followed my network marketing company's training methods in the hope of growing a solid and prosperous home-based business for myself. I didn't know it at the time, but the methods and techniques that they were teaching me were outdated and for the benefit of the company, not me. I spent thousands of dollars on local and company sponsored trainings, CD's, brochures, pamphlets and advertising. For 15 years, my wheels were just spinning.

When I finally decided to keep detailed track of my gauges, I realized that the latest and greatest internet program I had signed up for was directing me down a road of debt I didn't want to travel. After about 6 months, I discovered I was spending a lot more money that I was receiving. The only advice I received was to keep spending money on their lead system, as much as $2,500 a month plus. That's a classic one...the more money you spend, the more you will make. That's about as far from the truth as you can get.

Since I had a passion for the products I distributed, I did not want to quit my business. My slowly dwindling checking and savings account inspired me to quit my training program and look for some other way of being educated. I didn't want to go back to flyering every parking lot I drove past, or attending monthly meetings that my guests never showed up to, so I decided to look beyond my company for training.

What I found was a system that offered me proper marketing education with a money back guarantee if it didn't help me generate an additional $50,000 in my first year. It cost some money up front, but the money I saved from not having to implement the techniques I used to use made up for it. Proper marketing education takes more time and effort than companies are willing to provide because it doesn't bring in sales right away. They want you to get their message out to the masses, and the quicker you do it, the better for them. Even if you quit after a month, you're sure to leave behind one or two customers.

This doesn't mean your company wants you to fail. All they are really responsible for is providing you with products to sell. It's up to you to decide where you can get the best marketing education. If you decide to jump from one fad technique to the next, you'll probably only have a dwindling savings account to show for it. Marketing is not about fads, it's about knowing your target audience enough to satisfy their wants, needs and desires.

If your company isn't teaching you how to properly use the internet (and I'm not talking about just buying a fancy website and putting it out into cyber land), how to use pay-per-click advertising to reach your target audience, or other proven techniques like blogging and youtube, you should find a training program that will. Integrity, one of the most important things a man has. Once you have lost it, it is almost impossible to get it back.

There are millions of people using the internet every day, and billions of dollars are exchanged. The trick to this game, and it is a game, is to get your fare share without sacrificing your integrity. I personally believe that most people are good and want to do good things.

However, there are those who don't really care, they think what's the big deal, yea, some of the people, that I sell my crap to will want a refund, but the majority of them won't even figure out that this useless material, that is the same thing everyone else is selling just worded differently, is a scam. As far as integrity goes, they don't care about that either, they will never meet you, and we are not in their circle of friends.

Personally, I think my integrity is important whether I know you or not. If I was out there ripping people off, it probably wouldn't take long for the word to get out. I tried the affiliate marketing thing, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I just couldn't compete against the super affiliates, and that's because super affiliates, don't care about integrity.

Let me explain, these marketers put a code, that is 1 pixel by 1 pixel,( a code so small that you can't even see it with a microscope) this code directs any sale on a particular web site to their affiliate link. So it doesn't matter who actually directed this sale to the page, the person that put the code in gets the commission. Even the producers of the products you're trying to sell will step on your toes, i.e... have you ever gone to a web site interested in the product and a little window comes down from the top or side of the screen. This window says if you want to get a free copy of such and such put your name and e mail address here. Well, this widow is designed to take your commission away once they have filled out this box the commission goes to the producer instead of the person whose hard earned money brought them to the page.

Unless you know these little secrets and are willing to scam other people, you are beating a dead horse. Sure some people will be able to break through, and make a living at this. But the percentage is so low, just think about this if one person makes a million bucks selling a product for 15 dollars each, how many of those products did that person sell? how much did he have to spend on advertising?

Are you willing to put in the time and effort and money to try and beat the odds.

There is a better way, a place where people help each other succeed and it builds everyones success, no one person is better than anybody else. There is strength in numbers, united we prosper, divided we fail.

These are broken down under the subheadings of Things To Learn About The Company, Things To Learn About The Products, Things To Learn About The Pay Plan, and Things To Learn About The Training. This article will cover the third category.

Things to know about the pay plan

1. If you are going to put in the time and effort it takes to build a successful business, make sure you are working toward a secure and increasing residual income. This will generally come from one or both of two sources: from ongoing monthly fees (dues, subscriptions, etc.), or from repeat sales to the end customer. If the pay plan has any kind of breakaway feature, you will constantly be building just to keep up with the parts of your business you lose as people "break away" from you.
2. Stay away from any kind of pass up pay plan. Pass ups can be called a variety of names ("qualifying sales," for instance), but they all do the same thing. Your first "X" number of sales goes to your sponsor. After that, he makes no more money off your efforts, but has new people which will produce sales to be passed to him. Once you have met your pass up requirement, your sponsor has NO incentive to help you.
3. I am a fan of mlm, but they have one great flaw-- it takes tens or hundreds or thousands of people in your downline to make any serious money. Most of the time, this is a direct result of the small profit margins of the plans and products. If each sale or recruit brings you only a few dollars a month, the money does not pile up very quickly. Look for a big ticket type plan where you can make up to $900 per sale.
4. Look for a pay plan that you can move up through without harassing all of your friends and family. If you have already been through a few "can't miss" opportunities, you probably have already found this out. If you are looking for your first venture into the home business field, prepare for the fact that your friends and family won't be interested in what you are doing until you are making some money without them.

Day in the life of a Book Scout. How exciting. If it's a weekend you're out the door early as you might be able to hit a couple of garage sells to get things going. Generally you will develop a route that is long enough to make money but short enough that you don't lose burn up all your profits in gas. I just make sure I buy a couple of extra books to cover the gas.

Next you will probably have a series of Thrift Stores to check out. You scan the shelves looking for keepers that you know you can sell. You might be carrying a list of books that a book store is trying to find. You never know where you're going to find them.

Coffee is next while you drive to another thrift store. Here is a larger store and it will take more time. You can tell when you walk in that they have restocked there shelves. You hit the science fiction first and then move on looking for some classics and then dig into the non-fiction.

Well, now it's time to eat something and maybe pick up another garage sell. After this you have two boxes of books in back of your car that you sorted for one dealer who buys used books and also used text books. Since you work with the book seller on a regular bases he knows you will only bring in two boxes when you show up. So you carry in the first one, and go out and get the second one. Between customers he goes through the books and stacks up a pile wanting to take a closer look at them. You hit the shelves with your list and get lucky and find one book that you could resale to another store. It is in good condition.

You settle up with the book dealer who tells you he is interested in obtaining some Antiquarian Books, and you make note of this. He especially wants books that our out of print. The best part is that he gives you a discount on your book.

My Work At Home Testimony

First of all...let me just say you can honestly make money online. It is a real possibility...and there are lots of opportunities available to you. It's just a matter of knowing what you would like to do.

I started searching for a work at home job as additional income from my brick and mortar job back in 1999. I was working full time as a floral designer. These (so called) home typing jobs, ad placing schemes, data entry jobs, or whatever you want to call them are all scams. They charge you for your registration just so you can place ads all over the Internet to get people to join in to do the very same thing. Never pay for a work at home job. However, there are a few exceptions to this rule.

Example 1: For a customer service job, a lot of the time, you are required to purchase a headset in order to do the job.

Example 2: For a transcription job, you are most likely required to purchase a foot pedal to do the job.

Example 3: Sometimes you are required to pay a small fee for a background check.

These are all normal fees and come from legitimate work from home companies. Other than the above examples...you should not have to pay for working at home. If there are other charges, then most likely, they are scams. Stay away from them.

Beyond my search for additional income, I have made a fair amount of cash on a select few of some affiliate programs. I have also met some great online friends along the way.

Throughout my endeavors, I realized I had to take this work at home situation a little more seriously. My Mother was diagnosed with cancer and I had to quit my job in order to take her back and forth to her chemo therapy treatments and to her doctor appointments. During this time, I had decided to start a website of my own. An online friend helped me get it set up. I have learned a great deal since then and have enjoyed every minute of it.

I quickly discovered that I could earn money with my website through Google Adsense, advertising space, and affiliate programs. I also discovered that there were real telecommute jobs that you could do online. Customer service, transcription, admin assistant, and the like.

This is where I found my niche. I could finally offer something viable to the work at home job searcher. Ironically, job leads such as these that are offered on both my work from home websites is what I've been searching for all these years...an honest way to earn an income from home.

But, I was already earning some income with my website. I was enjoying keeping it updated and adding new things to it. So, I made a choice...I decided to stick with my website and continue to offer the public job leads, business articles, business tips, and more.

There have been many ups and downs and many times I've come real close to giving it all up. A lot of people have given me some sarcastic remarks...even members of my own family (including my husband). But, I've learned so much by trial and error about marketing and I know what works and what doesn't work for me.

"Work at home jobs" is one of the most searched out phrases people search for on the Internet. Home jobs are in big demand, and I believe they will be for a long time to come. I'm witnessing more and more Mothers as well as Fathers working from home today. The greatest benefit is of course being able to be at home with your family, and especially your children.

I feel good about what is offered on my sites. And the really awesome part about it all, I enjoy it. And now, even my husband gives me his full support at what I do. No more laughing, no more remarks...as he finally saw what kind of income can be made online.

There are some gains that must be considered when it comes to tax liability, but most are not when it comes to S corporations for the small business.

These types of business structures are often viewed as ideal because they are more cost effective. Tax liability is shared between each individual that takes part in the agreement for the small business partnership. Each person is held personally responsible for the affairs of themselves, as well as their partners in the small business.

Learning to be a medical transcriptionist is not a simple thing, even for those who have medical backgrounds. There's a lot to learn, and you will continue learning throughout your career. Envelope Stuffing - The Stuff Scams Are Made Of

You've seen the ads: "Make $1800.00 a month stuffing envelopes!" or "Put simple crafts together, work from home!" They often go on to say that they will pay you a dollar for each craft or envelope you stuff. You only need to pay for the kit to get started (which is typically around thirty dollars). Sounds pretty good if it were true, which is where the problem lies. It is not true. Envelope stuffing scams have been here long before the Internet gave them a new way to entice people. They used to run classified ads in newspapers or on the back sections of magazines. The ads haven't changed, only where they run the ads have.

Typically you pay for a box of supplies to start stuffing envelopes. In most cases what you are putting in is advertising designed to entice more people to stuff envelopes. You pay the postage. It is likely that you don't get paid a dime unless one of the envelopes you stuffed goes to a person who in turn pays the thirty or so dollars to start their "envelope stuffing" business. So out of hundreds of envelopes sent maybe 1% or less will actually send money to start this kind of business (or more accurately, scheme). So you have sent hundreds of envelopes, paid postage and wasted hours and hours of your time to make one dollar (if you were lucky).

Sometimes, these envelope-stuffing jobs don't even send you envelopes or stuffing advertisements. They may just send you a box of instructions on how to make money by advertising the same scheme you just bought into. There again, if you follow the instructions, you will be paying advertising costs that may run into hundreds of dollars and have little if any return on your money.

As for assembling crafts or other items from home, it is the same story with a different twist. Some of these are exactly like envelope stuffing schemes. Some actually are just after your initial investment for the cost of the starter box. They tell you that you will be paid a certain amount per item assembled. However if you read closely, it will also say that they will only pay for items that are assembled to their standards. People spend hours assembling items only to find that their items do not meet the standards and therefore, they will not be paid.

Any real company that requires mass production of mailers or assembly items would use a distribution center or mass advertising venue or, for item assembling, a manufacturer. Sending boxes out to random people to assembly items or stuff envelopes would not meet a need for efficient production and distribution. There is no lack of this type of production facility in any city that would require a demand for people to do that type of work from home. Why would they send real production needs out to random people when they can have it done at a guaranteed time and price and distributed all in one place?

Always read the fine print when you see this type of ad. According to the US Postal Service as stated in The Better Business Bureaus online publication "Work At Home Schemes", "The Inspection Service knows of no work-at-home promotion that ever produces income as alleged." There are real ways to make money working from home but this is not one of them.

Prosperity Online Can Be Yours

What does it mean to have prosperity? Webster defines it as the condition of being successful or thriving, or having economic well-being. How many of us want that to be descriptive of our lives? I know I do. Just reading the definition made a sense of peace wash over me.

And, I have not met a person yet, who has said no to having prosperity in their lives. But, I was perplexed because though everyone I discussed this with wanted prosperity, very few people actually experience it. And, it made me wonder why that was the case.

So, I decided to take a closer look. And in each case, I saw that everyone was pretty much doing the same thing. And when you do the same thing, you tend to get the same results. Everyone I saw was working forty or more hours a week for an employer, trading their time for money.

And in talking to these people, I found out that their parents had, in essence, done the same thing: worked for an employer, trading their time for money. And now that they are approaching, or in some cases, in their retirement years, most still don't live lives of prosperity. Most seem to live lives of quiet desperation.

Then, it made sense! A nine-to-five, a J-O-B, or whatever you choose to call it, does not make you prosperous, in most cases. Unless you have a professional job, like a doctor or lawyer or high-level executive, chances are, prosperity is not a part of your life. And even if you do have one of the previous named jobs, you're still trading your time for money.
