The claim of network marketing is that any distributor can be successful. The material promoting most companies illustrates everyday people making 6 and 7 figures.
So, who has all that money?
The great majority of the money made, in Network Marketing, is concentrated in the bank accounts of the rare leaders. Unfortunately, 97% of new distributors with big goals of wealth, never really get started.
The 3% that achieve their goals become the leaders of their team.
If you want the big bank account, you have to make the decision to do whatever is required to lead your team.
In actuality, a Network Marketing Team Leader is the same as the Alpha Male in the animal kingdom. The Alpha Male is the chief of his wolf pack. The Alpha Wolf is the biggest and strongest of the pack. He is responsible for protection of the wolves.
Here, the use of the term Alpha Male is an idea. It has no gender, male nor female. Even among animals, there are females that rule their group.
The Alpha Male maintains his authority until another more aggressive and powerful male defeats him, many times in a fight to the death. The Alpha Male wolf is born with strong genes and claims his place by force.
The Network Marketing Leader has similar role as the Alpha Male wolf. That is to provide for protection his team. To be more specific, the team leader must train distributors to succeed in achieving his or her goals. Distributors disappear very quickly if they don't reach their goals.
The high drop-out numbers, of most MLM companies, show that many leaders fail to live up to the promise to recruits when they join their company.
My coach told me that there was no such thing as a bad distributor, just a bad leader. We are not talking about the distributor that does nothing. By not participating in training and using the system, they chose to fail before they ever get started.
A Network Marketing Leader acts like a leader, even if they haven't earned the right to lead, yet. He takes the posture of an Alpha Male.
A lucky few have natural charisma and are natural leaders. The same as the Alpha Male wolf they are born with the leadership gene. However, many top Network Marketers took a different path. A Leader, with a strong base of these characteristics, can help each distributor reach their goals. By helping the distributors reach their goals, the leader earns the right of being the Alpha Male.

When distributor's goals are achieved, the team's Alpha Male, it's Leader, is rewarded with the big bank account.
